PROJECTION MAPPING PIECE ONE

We we look through the first view port and see the GPO tall and proud. This is a small scale model of the building that will be projected onto.
A man with a projector stands in front of the building projecting videos from the past detailing the people and the era itself.

PROJECTION MAPPING PIECE TWO

We come to the second window, a negative pattern in the decal reveals a look through an old Georgian Window that has old Sackville Street in the background.
We see old Dublin Passing through time.

PROJECTION MAPPING PIECE THREE

We find ourselves in a room of an old Georgian House.
Here we witness the passing of time as photographs on the wall come to life and show heroic faces from 1916.
The room seems to be alive as magical shadow play catches our eye and transports us back.

PROJECTION MAPPING PIECE FOUR

When we look through the fourth view port we are looking down over a miniature modern Dublin Skyline.
We see our most famous and recognised pieces of architecture being lit up as the lights in the building form a beautiful light show for us to admire.
Here we see the wonder of modern technology bring Dublin City to life.

PROJECTION MAPPING INSTALLATIONS + WINDOW DECAL

  • Time passing and the celebration of 100 years

  • The past and the future - a glimpse into the beauty of the past and the wonder of what might be.

  • The buildings of our city - the GPO and the Modern City Skyline

  • Looking through a window into the past

  • How a single moment in time can tell more about the entire rising than the entire rising in a single moment.

The Window Decal and the projection mapping installations will compliment each other in terms of their arrangement.
The Window Decal will act like a modern day tapestry with a reductionist style and monochrome + gold colour palette.

On the far left we will see an artistic impression of 1916 and on the far right we will see an artistic impression of 2016.
