For Those I Love’s cutting lyrical prose has been on our radar for quite a while and we had the pleasure to be involved in the making of their latest music video entitled ‘Birthday’.
BRIEF
Shooting music videos digitally has become a challenge and necessity of this time, but it’s also been an opportunity to rise to the occasion and create work that would have never existed otherwise! In For those I Love’s video for ‘Birthday’ we joined a team of forward thinking creatives to shoot all the Dublin scenes presented in the clip.
THE IDEA
Algorithm Creative Director Kev Freeney supervised the visual effects and filming of the virtual scenes in Dublin that you see in the clip, capturing gritty textures of the city through a futuristic surreal lens.
RESULT
Using Lidar technology, we scanned and recorded 3D space and were able to connect multiple moments in space and time - following a narrative throughout the music video.
