In October 2018 Meltybrains were commissioned to create a fringe festival performance like none they had done before.
BRIEF
We were brought on for technical and creative production to make a projection mapping live show in the Abbey Theatre a reality.
THE IDEA
Algorithm worked with the band to create a five metre tall projection mapped version of the iconic Melty mask, which was suspended above the band during the show. Our animation department worked with facial mapping software and 3D modelling to give the new mask a life of its own, following the tone and emotion of the concert.
RESULT
The performance was a fan favourite and was critically acclaimed in festival reviews.
