The Immersive Art Festival, Atelier Des Lumières [2019]
In 2019, we entered a competition to be one of the first studios outside of France to fill Paris’ Atelier des Lumières with an immersive spectacle.
BRIEF
We joined some of Europe’s top studios for the Immersive Art Festival in Atelier des lumières. For the event a geigeresque sci-fi scenario was dreamt up, which encompassed several hundreds of square metres.
THE IDEA
Our proposal; ‘Portals’, followed a basic sci-fi narrative, introducing the interior of a vacant futuristic craft, which is host to a wondrous, tense and horrific series of events.
RESULT
Our studio worked tirelessly on a model of the space, a canvas of several hundred square metres, creating scenes, characters, and an experience that was different depending on your position in the room.
